Welcome to the HelpMareena website.  This page is dedicated to help create awareness about Mareena's journey and battle with epilepsy.  It equally was designed to shed light on her battle with her school district in Orange County, The Los Alamitos Unified School District and her current fight to get the appropriate services she needs.  Her voice must be heard as this battle with the The Los Alamitos Unified School District has the ability to pose as big of a threat to her education as did the seizures she so bravely fought.  Parents, voters and taxpayers must be made aware of our broken special education system, especially in the Los Alamitos Unified School District.  If you or anyone you know has a child facing similar challenges with their district please direct them to this website.  We would love to hear from you or them.  Simply send us an e-mail with your story at martinflores@helpmareena.com or deenaflores@helpmareena.com
